For 17 years I worked in a variety of roles across the BBC, starting in the World Service as a sound engineer, a producer and a presenter, as well as experiencing secondments to Local Radio and to the Radiophonic Workshop, before moving to TV News and then back to Radio 4, before ending up in the Secretariat.
I have also broadcast on Saudi Arabian TV, and undretaken voice-over work.
